The hamlet has been notified by the RM of Mervin of the following:

The Saskatchewan Health Association has responded to some reports of the unknown algae that has surfaced in Turtle Lake. At this time, SHA is not able to do any water testing and has asked us that we post a CAUTION poster at any public swimming areas and notification boards. This caution is only a caution and not an advisory.
